About the Hospital

Dr. B.L. Kapur, a renowned obstetrician and gynaecologist, established the BLK Super Specialty Hospital in 1959. The announcement was made by India’s then-Prime Minister, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. The hospital has received NABH and NABL accreditations.

It has 650 beds and 17 new, well-equipped mobile service theatres. It is the first hospital in the NCR region to implement an automated pneumatic chute system for better patient care. With one of the largest critical care programs in the country, it has 125 beds across multiple intensive care units.
